FD Dolomites – Farmacia Dobbiaco

Farmacia Dobbiaco has long been an important healthcare provider in the small town of Toblach. With great dedication, curiosity, and entrepreneurial drive, the Barbierato family has built a naturally grown product range that is highly valued by both locals and tourists. Step by step, this development allowed a new brand in the field of health and wellbeing to emerge.

Over the years, a range of more than 100 products had taken shape, from ointments to dietary supplements. This product universe had grown organically and was strong in substance, but it needed a clearer structure, a stronger brand logic, and a form that would make the variety distinguishable while still allowing it to be experienced as a whole. With such a broad product line, the challenge was to create orientation while preserving the calm and premium quality of the brand.

We developed this organically grown product universe into a strong new brand in the health sector in two stages. In the first step, colors were defined, the existing range was analyzed, and a brand logic was developed from which the color combinations emerged as a distinctive feature. The result was a system that remains minimalist while still making fundamentally different products clearly distinguishable.

In the course of the second relaunch, we were able to build on this strong foundation and introduce the new brand name FD Dolomites. Today, the brand sells its high-quality skincare products from the Dolomites both in the pharmacy and through its webshop across Italy. The color system became its defining feature and makes the wide product range clearly distinguishable. A special role is played by the black arnica line, with highly concentrated arnica powder and CBD for sport, recovery, and muscle care. This was complemented by a video filmed during the short arnica blooming season in the Dolomites, reinforcing the product’s authenticity.
