Reporting (not quite) Live from the Studio

We do not start with layouts but with questions. What is the real problem? Where is the core of it? We listen, analyze, think along and question things. Only once we understand what it is really about does the first line begin to emerge.

At the beginning, things are rarely already in order. Expectations, visions and loose thoughts sit side by side and first need to be connected. By sorting, sharpening and developing them together, ideas begin to gain substance.

To get to the point means not leaving possibilities endlessly open. Eventually, a decision must be made. With sketches, drafts and new approaches, it becomes clear whether an idea has lasting potential or needs further refinement.

Now what was previously thought through has to work in reality. On screens, on paper, in space, in process, in detail. Technology, production and execution all come into play and sometimes this is exactly where an idea shows what it is truly capable of. Good processes can handle that and do not fall apart halfway through.

Finished implementation is rarely the end. Projects keep moving, requirements shift, new formats are added. That is exactly why the last step is one that stays open , for questions, further development and everything else that comes along the way.
