The Io.Co Show brings a format to South Tyrol that hasn’t really been seen here before. Inspired by the American late-night show, it creates an evening that moves between talk, music, and live comedy, borrowing from the genre’s big gestures and flipping them into a distinctly local, bilingual setting.
With Gianluca Iocolano as host, the show takes on a tone that’s quick-witted, direct, and just slightly on edge. Guests share stories you probably haven’t heard before, while the flow shifts between commentary, improvisation, and sharp turns, building exactly the mix of humor, pace, and controlled chaos that carries the format. German and Italian run side by side throughout, shaping what the show ultimately is: a very South Tyrolean take on the classic late-night formula.
The visual language picks up on that same energy. It draws from familiar late-night aesthetics, but translates them into a distinct visual system that feels accessible while holding its own character. A bit of stage, a bit of irony, a bit of exaggeration, always with the intention of extending the show’s tone beyond the stage, not just illustrating it.
Alongside the communication, we also co-developed the production in collaboration with Dekadenz. This meant that the Io.Co show was conceived from the very beginning as a cohesive whole: visually, conceptually, and on stage. The evening gained a distinct identity that has since made its way across South Tyrol’s small-scale performance venues and into new media.
